Only the content you explicitly choose to share will be visible to meeting participants. Make sure you select the correct screen, window, or browser tab before confirming the share dialog. Personal tabs, bookmarks, or notifications outside the selected view remain completely hidden.

Having trouble sharing?

Check answers to the most common questions regarding Google Meet whiteboard streaming.

Why don't I see the "Screen share your view" button?

Ensure you are the active host of the Sinkronos Whiteboard activity inside Google Meet. If another participant started the activity, only they have host permission to initiate the primary broadcast button. You can ask the host to pass control or start a session of your own.

Participants can't see my whiteboard. What should I do?

First, verify that your browser has screen recording / sharing permissions enabled in your operating system settings (System Settings > Privacy & Security on macOS). Next, check that screen sharing has actually started and that you selected the active whiteboard tab rather than a blank window.

Can I stop sharing at any time?

Yes, absolutely. You can click "Stop sharing" from the floating Google Meet controls banner at any point without losing your whiteboard progress or disconnecting active collaborators.

You're ready to share!

Start your Sinkronos Whiteboard activity, share your view, and collaborate with your meeting participants effortlessly.
